
Water Color Wash Resist
The original picture is drawn in pencil.
The children then outline with permanent marker
and crayon in certain areas.
Water is brushed over the entire picture.
Water colors are washed over the crayon.
Oil and water do not mix!
The end result is beautiful as you can scroll down and see.

Toothpick Sculptures
The fifth graders are also working on Toothpick Sculptures.
A lot of time and effort is put into these beautiful works of art.
Toothpicks are glued together with tacky glue to form various shapes.
Some shapes take the form of familiar creatures or objects.
The final project is painted.
Our students have been developing some imaginations in Art class.
